Motivated by the Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021 and a personal family link to a relative fatally affected by undiagnosed PTSD trauma, Annie and the station also wanted to create a unique broadcasting opening for ex and serving members of the forces. The response to this initiative has been incredible, with Annie and Matt currently working with a high-ranking RAF Wing Commander OBE and Head of Diversity in The British Army to promote this opportunity.
