Rick Edwards, a TV presenter, Stand-up Comedian, Screen Writer, and Journalist will guarantee diversity at your next event.
Fronting a diverse range of broadcasting for many TV channels including, panel discussions, game shows, sporting games, music series and film specials. Part of his career has involved Safeword (ITV2), Free speech (BBC three), Tool academy (E4), and IAAF World Athletics (Channel 4). Rick has experience in live broadcasting presenting, and making appearances and hosting on panel discussions.
Prior his career, Rick graduated with a degree in Natural Science’s from Cambridge University, where he then worked as a graduate on a trainee scheme for a Television production company. From there, his career progressed in front of the cameras and has become a fun and entertaining TV presenter, Comedian and variety writer.
Besides his comedy career, Rick actively campaigns to help educate youth’s politics and encourages them get involved and vote. He delivered a very successful TEDx (at the Houses of Parliament) talk in 2014, which offered some solutions to encourage more young people to vote.
He published a book in 2015 None of the Above, which focuses on the basics of the political process that occurs in the UK. The book provides an overview of the key issues that are highlighted in the Country and explains the power of each and every vote.
Rick also presents the podcast Science(ish) with Dr Michael Brooks, the pair use enthusiastic and witty language to deliver a podcast which underlines the curiosity of how the world works.
