Otis began his DJ career supporting acts such as Craig Charles (Radio 6 music), DJ Format and Norman Jay. For the last few years he has been a resident DJ at The Arts Club in Mayfair and was the first DJ to hold a residency at the highest restaurant in London, Duck and Waffle. He secured these high profile gigs after being scouted whilst playing EMI’s Christmas party one year.
Otis also plays at other venues including Brick Lane and Bayswater and regularly plays private events at Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes for clients including; Apple and Google and recently played on ‘Kevin J’s Comedy Mash’ up at the POW in Brixton.
He is a Soul & funk DJ who also specialises in Rhythm & Blues, Northern Soul, Rock & Roll, Reggae and a little bit of Disco. He also dabbles in Hip Hop, R&B and other commercial music, after all he is named after Otis Redding so he was bought up on the good stuff! if Otis had to define his style is similar to that of Craig Charles and Giles Peterson. He neither mixes or scratches but instead focuses in on the quality of the music that he selects and times with the crowd in front of him. He also has a vast library to share from and his main stipulation that if its good he will play it.
