Winner of the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award 2010 for Best Newcomer, Roisin Conaty is a multi-talented writer and performer. She brings her distinctive style of stand up to clubs all over the country and is in much demand as an MC.
Winner of the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award 2010 for Best Newcomer, Roisin Conaty is a multi-talented writer and performer. She brings her distinctive style of stand up to clubs all over the country and is in much demand as an MC.
Roisin is also a gifted character comic, who can switch between roles seamlessly. She performed as one half of ‘The Cakes’ and is working on a number of ideas for TV and Radio.
As well as winning the coveted Edinburgh Award, Roisin has also won the Laughing Horse New Act Award and been a finalist in the Amused Moose and Funny Women Competitions. Roisin has recently appeared on BBC3 hit show Russell Howard’s Good
News, Victoria Wood’s Angina Monologues for Sky One and Dave’s One Night Stand for Dave channel.
Roisin will be returning to Edinburgh in August 2011 with her second solo show.
