After ten fulfilling years playing Max & OB in Channel 4′s flagship soap Hollyoaks, winning a British Soap Award for ‘Best Onscreen Partnership’ and an NTA Award, in 2008 Matt Littler & Darren Jeffries said goodbye to the show to develop their TV and media careers.

24 months on, and they are already firmly established as two of the nation’s favourite TV presenters. From initial slots on The Hollyoaks Music Show & Freshly Squeezed, they quickly developed their own brand of presenting appearing as roving reporters on Channel 4′s 2008 coverage of the V Festival to hosting their own show at the Edinburgh Festival & presenting Orange Rock Corp for T4. The duo also managed to develop their hugely popular radio show for Bauer’s Rock FM (narrowly missing out on a Sony newcomer nomination after only 3 months on air), presented The Clothes Show Live in Birmingham and became the faces of the Royal Air Force.

In 2009 the duo became the faces of 4Music hosting The Versus Chart while launching their own ratings winning show “Red Bull Rivals” again for T4 while making numerous personal appearances with their own live show at venues across the UK. 2010 saw the boys launch a new handset for Sony Ericsson and The Carphone Warehouse, film a promotional video for The Outward Bounds Trust, shoot another series of ‘The Versus Chart’, work with Bauer on a launch for boyband The Wanted, been the faces of 4Music’s ‘Blog Star’ campaign and become the hosts of Channel 4′s Freshly Squeezed.

2011 promises to be as equally impressive, with a hosting slot on the Hollyoaks Music Show already in the bag. The Channel Four series sees Matt & Darren introduce the likes of The Wombats and Peter Andre to the stage.
