Kristiane's career began at Radio Hamburg, where she embarked upon a two-year apprentice programme. By the time her training had finished, she had been chosen out of thousands of hopeful applicants to become MTV Europe's first German presenter.
At the age of 24 Kristiane became one of the leading presenters on MTV Europe where she interviewed many major artists and musicians of her time such as the Rolling Stones and Sir Bob Geldof. Kristiane soon became one of the leading presenters on MTV Europe, hosting many different shows for over seven years, including the highest rated program on the channel, the Coca Cola Report.
With an inclination to broaden her horizons Kristiane went on to create her own youth show in Germany and presented a daily guide to culture and entertain-ment, “The Ticket NBC” on NBC Europe. She also created and hosted a show in Germany called Bravo TV. MTV had become such a phenomena in Germany, she was presented with several television awards, including the Golden Camera, and two Golden Ottos.
In 2011 Kristiane has chaired the panel 'Euro Islam' with Prof Tariq Ramadan for the Conference Beyond Multiculturalism- Islam in Europe by the German embassy at the University of Westminster, she spoke at the Progressive Muslims Forum and chaired the Launch of Missing Pages EIF at the House of Lords, presented 'Reise 2011' on Travel Channel Germany and was a speaker at the international accoun-tancy firm Auren on 'Self Development'. She was interviewed about the phenomenon of increasing conversions to Islam in the UK by BBC News, Channel 4, The Daily Mail, The Sun, Khaleej Times, CBC Radio and Asian Express.
Kristiane continues to host conferences and gala events throughout Europe. She also runs her own homeopath website.
