Jim Al-Khalili (OBE) is a British scientist, author and broadcaster. He is a professor of Physics at the University of Surrey where he also holds a chair in the Public Engagement in Science. He is a vice president and trustee of the British Science Association and holds an EPSRC Senior Media Fellowship.
Jim is now available to present and speak on subjects including: Nuclear power; Quantum physics; History of science, particularly medieval science; Life and work of the great scientists (Newton, Einstein etc); Science and religion; Cosmology/black holes/the Big Bang; Time travel according to modern science; Astrophysics; History of mathematics; History of physics; History of chemistry and Chaos theory. As well as these fascinating topics, Jim is also available to talk about his experiences in broadcasting and the making of science documentaries
