      James Rothnie is Director of Corporate Affairs at easyGroup.

      James is responsible for media relations, brand awareness, corporate image and corporate affairs within the easyGroup. The easyGroup was created as a vehicle to promote the existing companies within the easy brand - easyJet, easyInternetCafe, easyRentacar, easyValue, easy.com and easyMoney - as well as to explore new business ventures.

      James joined easyJet at the beginning of 1997 when the airline only had 3 aircraft, and was one of the three executives that left easyJet with Stelios to found easyGroup in 1999.

      Prior to easyJet James worked within the large marketing department at Disneyland Paris, with specific responsibility for international publicity. It was his experience in pan-European Public Relations and Marketing that lead to his creating an equivalent department for easyJet and then the easyGroup.

      His speeches give an account of how easyGroup have managed to grow companies and brands at the speed they have managed. He also gives a case study into the easyGroup companies covering: Establishing brand values that they have transferred from one industry to another; and Online marketing: The internet remains the synergy of all the easyGroup companies.
