Francis Eames is a Blue Chip Marketing Director with senior experience as global marketing coordinator for major international brands, directing marketing teams in UK, Asia Pacific and Middle East.
Francis has a colourful career spanning over three decades. The first twenty years of Francis' working life were spent at Unilever working almost exclusively on Birds Eye Walls. Starting as a Junior Buyer and working his way up to Marketing Manager for Unilever International, Francis has spent time in Dubai and Singapore.
In his time at Unilever his achievements included increasing profits by 130% in 3 years, making Lipton the most profitable tea business worldwide. He modernised the Lipton brand through innovation and implemented a new advertising strategy.
In 1995 Francis moved over to Diageo Singapore as Marketing Director for Guinness Asia Pacific. Here he managed the design, research and global implementation of the Guinness brand's new global packaging identity into 150 markets through 48 production sites worldwide. He developed a strong innovation pipeline for Guinness and led the drive to market globally for strategic Guinness innovation projects.
Since 1998, Francis has been based in the UK as an independent consultant, managing major marketing projects for international Blue Chip clients. He has undertaken such assignments as conducting a global strategic marketing review, and consequently developing a new strategy for the BBC.
