- Performance
Choreographed dance routines for couples or groups that can be performed to colleagues as part of an evening presentation
This presentation could include a dance competition, with Darren and Lilia judging the winner with the help of the audience.
Using dance to emphasise the many aspects of business, from partnerships to body language.
Darren and Lilia will demonstrate how to bring all elements of a show together (i.e. routines, music, costume). They will speak about how important it is in business for each sector to work together, in order to get the best performance.
By using the examples of ballroom and Latin dance which, by definition are partner based, Darren and Lilia will illustrate how dance can be used to break down the boundaries between employees and encourage teamwork.
Due to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Ballroom & Latin dancing has become hugely popular and clients now have the opportunity to experience something they see every week on TV - and learn to dance like the stars!!

Dancing together since 1997, Darren and Lilia achieved great success early on in their careers. As a partnership they won the International and British Youth Championships at under 21. As amateurs, they went on to win the British National Championships four times and danced at Elton John’s 50th birthday, The Motor Show and at London Fashion Week.
Turning Professional in 2003, the pair won the British Rising Star Professional Championships at their first attempt, beating 250 couples to the prestigious title. They continued their success by making the final of the Italian & Dutch Opens and World Masters. Within their first year of professionalism they achieved a ranking in the top six of the World Series.
Over the following years, Darren and Lilia made it to the World Latin American Final in the USA, and the European Championships in Moscow. They were members of the British Team for over four years, and in 2005 became British National Professional Champions after being placed first in all five dances, retaining the title in 2006.
Darren and Lilia are the most successful dance partnership on Strictly Come Dancing. The show is a BBC success story, and at its peak has attracted over 12 million viewers. Between them they have won a total of seven trophies. In 2004 Darren won the series dancing with Eastender’s star, Jill Halfpenny. They then went on to win the Champion of Champions dance-off. The following year Lilia took the title whilst partnering cricketing star, Darren Gough. Lilia and Gough went on to win both the International, and 2007 Christmas Specials.
In 2008, they embarked on the Strictly Come Dancing Livetour, performing over 40 shows at some of the countries top arena venues including the 02, MEN, and Wembley.
The pair have had the pleasure of performing with many international stars including Michael Buble, Kylie, Cliff Richard, Westlife and the Spice Girls. They have also performed on The Royal Variety Show, Bruce’s Birthday and The Big Finish.
Throughout the Summer of 2009, Darren and Lilia performed a successful run of their highly acclaimed, hit dance show, Latin Fever at the Peacock Theatre, London and Birmingham Symphony Hall. Joined by four top Latin American dancing duos and a nine-piece Latin Band, the spectacular show saw the pair embark on a breathtaking voyage, transporting them from the streets of Brazil to the bullrings of Spain by way of a vibrant mix of dance styles including the tango, rumba and cha-cha-cha. The show was entirely created, produced and performed by the pair, from choreography to costume design. The show was such a huge success, Darren and Lilia returned to the stage in Summer 2010, this time for a nationwide tour.
Darren and Lila are involved in the Essentially Dance scheme funded by the Aldridge Foundation. The intention of the programme is to give all children within the UK the opportunity to experience ballroom and latin dance, and was officially launched in June 2009.
