A great workshop that combines Body drilling (percussion), beat boxing and vocal harmonies.
In New Zealand, the Maori dance the Haka, South Africa has the gumboot dance, Indonesians have the Saman dance and in New York they have Stepping. The creators of this fantastically different workshop have taken inspiration from all of the above forms of body percussion and created a fantastic session using the body to create music.
Totally engaging, amazingly creative with excellent results. No matter who you are, you will love this experience of using your body to create rhythm and sound by claps, stomps, slaps, and clicks.
