      A comedy legend. Best-known for his impressions and classic gags, Bobby Davro is a British actor, comedian and national treasure!. 

      Bobby Davro is a British actor, comedian and legend. He is best known for his work as an impressionist.

      Bobby made his television debut in 1981, but his major breakthrough came with an appearance on Live from Her Majesty's in 1983. This led to his own Saturday night series, Bobby Davro on the Box, which immediately topped the ratings for six consecutive years.

      In 1991 Bobby moved to the BBC and made three series, Public Enemy Number One, Rock with Laughter and Run the Risk. He returned to our screens in May of 1997 as host of Yorkshire Television's Winner Takes All for 65 programmes.

      Bobby occasionally tours with 'Swingin', a big band show, featuring Kenny Lynch, Bobby's 12-piece orchestra, and special guests.

      In 2003, Bobby was one of the contestants in the Channel 4 reality TV show, The Games, in which 10 celebrities competed against each other, by doing Olympic style events.

      In 2005, he appeared in Birmingham, as an act for Jasper Carrott's Rock With Laughter. He appeared alongside performers such as, Bill Bailey, Jasper Carrott, Lenny Henry, Bonnie Tyler, Tammy Palmer and the Lord of the Dance troupe.

      2006 saw Bobby make a special guest appearance as a judge on Channel 5's All Star Talent Show. From 2005 to 2006, he performed on stage in Aladdin with Melinda Messenger and John Rhys Davies in Woking, Surrey.

      In 2007, he appeared in a Comic Relief television advertisement which was later followed by an appearance in the video for Peter Kay and Matt Lucas's charity single I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) for the same charity. Peter, appearing as Brian Potter, is heard to sing Davro's name several times during one of the instrumental choruses.

      In August 2007, Bobby joined the cast of soap opera, EastEnders, playing Vinnie Monks, a love interest for Shirley Carter. He left in Autumn 2008. However, he is due to return in 2009.

      In the 2008/09 Pantomime Season, Bobby appeared as Buttons in the Bristol Hippodrome Production of Cinderella

      Versatility is the key to Bobby's longevity as a high profile personality. Be it in Television, voice-overs, Pantomime, summer shows, corporate events or in late night Cabaret, Bobby Davro is in constant demand as a major attraction.
