Amanda Holden is a British actress and television presenter.
After training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Amanda went on to play parts in soaps such as Eastenders; TV comedies such as The Grimleys and Smack the Pony, the BAFTA-award nominated drama series, Cutting It; Wild at Heart alongside Stephen Tomkinson, and several stage musicals. She was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her title role in the West End production of, Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Amanda has worked with some of the best known talents in her industry including Harry Enfield in the BBC six-part series, Celebs; and Tom Courtney in Jack Rosenthal's classic comedy, Ready When You Are Mr. McGill.
Amanda guest presented the CBS talk show, The Early Show in June 2009, and has since been signed up as the show's British correspondant. Also in 2009, Amanda became a gossip columnist for the News of the World's magazine, Fabulous.
Most recently, Amanda joined the judging panel for the second and third series of ITV's popular talent show, Britain's Got Talent.
